I had meant to write about my weekend, at least by last night, but well, things come up. By that I mean sleep. And I haven't even gotten enough of that lately, as it is.

After having a busy, day Friday, I was determined to have a really quiet weekend.
Saturday was a slow day.
Sometimes when I have those days, I feel guilty. Kind of a flashback of a sort from the days I had little kids maybe.

Sunday was a nice day.
We had earlier plans, to go to the library. I had 2 books, S had 5, to return.
S couldn't even wait to get home to read.
Does anyone remember this book?
I used to love Little House on the Prairie books, and watching the show too. It's too bad our younger girls, don't have this to watch now-a-days.

After the library, we made some sugar cookies.
After dinner we went for our usual walk.
The woods are still full of all the ugly dead leaves, so may as well, take advantage of it!
Bailey managed to sneak a swim in....

Heading home, Bailey met a new friend, Brandy.
She was all excited about running into Bailey. Her owners said she wanted to play. She is 10 yrs old. Bailey is 1 1/2.

Looks like you guys had a great weekend! We're avid readers too...hey, your daughter should do a post with her top book picks throughout the years; I'm always on the hunt for new books to introduce to my toddlers!
